After a life spent in gardening and landscaping, Patrick and Lynn purchased the land which Glebe Gardens Launceston now sits on in 2003 and with the majority of construction being completed in 2009. A long term dream finally being made a reality, Glebe Gardens Launceston is Patrick's masterpiece after over 30 years in landscaping.
After construction of Glebe Gardens Launceston was completed, Lynn opened the gift shop, which has become well-known for our huge range of truly unique items. We later opened our landscape design center for those wanting to bring a little bit of Glebe Gardens Launceston into their own homes. Our cafe came along slightly later as our facilities improved and Glebe Gardens Launceston became a favorite for many locals to meet for coffees and lunch.
Glebe Gardens Launceston has always been a place for both locals and visitors to enjoy and feel a part of. Over the years, we have opened our garden up for many different events. Keep your eye out around Easter time for our famous Glebe Gardens Easter Egg Hunt!
2015 saw us welcome a new activity to Glebe Gardens Launceston with Revolution Paintball becoming Tasmania's first Paintball field to open and Glebe Gardens Launceston being chosen as the first location. Revolution Paintball is a great day out for Birthdays, Bucks Parties, Hens Parties & Corporate Groups to have a bit of fun.
After more than a decade of growth, we've come a long way toward turning the Glebe Gardens Launceston dream into a reality.
